About

I am a long-time resident of Western Colorado.  My wife and four kids and I moved here in 1995 after a long stint on the west coast, and after falling in love with the pace and the quality of life here. We have stayed even in the face of many offers to relocate elsewhere.  I love to be outside, whether it's on a mountain bike (preference one) or on a hike, or at a stream with a rod and line, or just doing yard work; outside suits me the very best.  I love the stars in the sky, the easy access to remote outdoors, and Western Colorado has a remarkable offering of wonder in every setting and in every season.  When forced inside, I love to read, to write, and to dabble with the guitar. And every chance for time with my family and those six grandkids, is first on my list.
